What changed
The USDC/MSFTc individual-pool display expanded to roughly 947% APY, opening a notification-level gap versus the simultaneously observable DefiLlama aggregate reading of 238.56% and DeFi Terminal's 143.72%. The individual-pool headline is about 6.59 times the DeFi Terminal reading, and most of the individual-pool APY is attributed to AERO incentives.
Why it matters
Liquidity remains in the roughly $0.8M–$0.95M range while the displayed APY for the same market spans approximately 144% to 947% across public data surfaces. Tokenized-stock LP headline yield is therefore being driven heavily by AERO allocation, short-window annualization, update timing and aggregation methodology rather than by equity carry alone, making any single APY figure difficult to interpret as a persistent realizable rate.
Evidence
- DefiLlama — Aerodrome Slipstream USDC-MSFTc individual pool — Displayed $822,690 TVL, 946.76% Supply APY, 102.45% base APY and 844.31% AERO reward APY.
- DefiLlama — Microsoft Corporation (MSFTc) RWA dashboard — Displayed USDC-MSFTc at $876,204 TVL and 238.56% APY, split into 85.91% base and 152.65% rewards.
- DeFi Terminal — USDC yield opportunities — Displayed USDC-MSFTC on Aerodrome Slipstream at 143.72% APY and roughly $950,000 TVL.
Limitations
The data surfaces are not fully synchronized, and APY can change rapidly with short-window volume, AERO emission allocation, prices, TVL, annualization windows and update timing. Aerodrome distinguishes between gauge-staked LP positions that receive AERO emissions and unstaked LP positions that receive swap fees, so a simple base-plus-reward aggregate may not map directly to the yield simultaneously realizable by one position. Concentrated liquidity adds range-out and IL/LVR risk. MSFTc also carries issuer, custody, redemption and eligibility constraints, plus a timing mismatch between 24/5 underlying equity trading and 24/7 Base markets.
