What changed

At 2026-09-24 02:50:46 JST, DefiLlama showed 10.00% APY, $416,931 TVL and 0.00% base plus 10.00% USDC reward. The current reading is 18.22% APY, $406,168 TVL and 0.00% base plus 18.22% USDC and sUP rewards: +8.22 percentage points in APY and -$10,763, or about -2.6%, in TVL. In the same observation window, Portals showed 18.24% APY, about $406.36K TVL and 0% base yield, leaving only about a 0.02 percentage-point headline APY gap between the two providers.

Why it matters

Displayed APY returned from 10% to above 18% without a TVL increase, while sUP reappeared in the reward mix. That points to incentive composition and reward valuation, rather than organic base yield, as the main driver of the change. The two major data providers are currently closely aligned, but the rapid shifts in the same vault show why the headline rate should not be treated as a stable yield.

Evidence

Limitations

Displayed APY has 0% base yield and depends on external rewards, so it can change rapidly with USDC and sUP terms, participating TVL, sUP price, aggregation windows and refresh timing. DefiLlama and Portals are closely aligned in this observation, but wallet-level USDC and sUP accrual, eligibility and reward end conditions were not independently verified. Other limitations include Superform vault/strategy/contract risk, NVDAc issuer, custody, redemption and eligibility risk, and the timing mismatch between 24/5 underlying equity markets and 24/7 Base markets.
